CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC VEHICLE MAKE
AND MODEL BEFORE MY RENTAL?
We will do our utmost to meet your request
however we cannot guarantee a specific vehicle make or model.
CAN I EXTEND MY RENTAL AFTER
COLLECTING THE CAR?
Yes, all you need to do is contact Mapjosh Car
Rental and we will extend your car rental to the date and time advised. When
extending a rental an additional authorisation will be reserved on your credit
card straight away for the extra costs.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO IF I HAVE AN
ACCIDENT?
If you have been in an accident you need to
take care of yourself and your passengers first and foremost. If there are any injuries,
please contact emergencies services straight away.
When you are able to please call the 24-hour Mapjosh
Car Rental Roadside and Emergencies call center on 065 979 6363 to report the accident. We will aid with
emergency services if required and arrange for the vehicle to be towed.
Standard procedures need to be followed with
all accidents, please take all the details of any third parties involved and
report the accident to the police. We also recommend taking photos of the
accident to assist with your claim.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY RENTAL CAR BREAKS
DOWN?
Unfortunately, with the nature of any vehicle,
mechanical faults do occur from time to time.
If your rental car happens to break down,
please call the 24-hour Mapjosh Car Rental Roadside and Emergencies call centre
on 065 979
6363 where
agents are on standby to assist you.
WILL THERE BE FUEL IN MY RENTAL CAR?
Yes, you will receive your rental car with a
full tank of petrol.
WHAT IF I DO NOT NEED MY BOOKING
ANYMORE?
I'M GOING TO RETURN MY HIRE CAR LATER
THAN AGREED. IS THIS OK?

ADMINISTRATION FEE?
IS THERE AN ADMINISTRATION FEE FOR
TRAFFIC FINES RECIEVED?
There will be a traffic fine administration fee of R330 if the renter may receive a traffic fine whilst renting the Mapjosh Car Rental vehicle.
If the driver is below the age of 25 a Young Drivers Surcharge
of R45.00 per day will apply (for a maximum of 10 days)
